What a great 37th birthday I had today : )

Today started out great. Got to sleep in till around 9am. Chris and the kids decided they wanted to take me out today, so we went to Austin to visit the Capital of Texas. and go the LBJ library. We all had a blast. There is so much to do and see there. Yesterday I thought 40 is coming up quick and not happy about that, but today feels different. I have so much to do and I AM GOING TO DO IT THIS YEAR!!! We took some pics. Well Sunday evening has approached and kids need to go to bed. Love to you all

Poor Jonathan

Our weekend was pretty nice until Jonathan woke up on Sunday morning with a fever of 102.2 and did not brake that fever till yesterday afternoon. I took him to the doctor Monday morning at 8:30 and finally got out at around 12:30. Poor Jon was so sick and tired of sitting there. He ended up with bronchitis. He was not happy at all about being home only because he has perfect attendance till Monday. I was up with him Monday night half the night. I was so tired Tuesday when I got up with Audrey at 6am. Jon and I watched the inauguration. It was nice because he wanted to know all about it. Audrey had her school spelling bee at school in the afternoon. She made it to the third round of the competition and it started out good till her second word. She missed the word " chalupa" She was so hurt that she did not make it, but I told her out of 90 kids she was one of the last 20 kids to go as far as she did.

I will be putting in an application at the Comal County Sheriffs Department this week. Please pray that if this is the place I'm supposed to be that I will get it. I know that God has a special place for me. I am going to trust him and follow his lead. Well Its getting pretty late here.

I DID IT : )

I DID IT.
I am now a Certified Telecommunications Operator (Police Dispatcher). I got a 96 on my exam. I am so proud of myself. I finished it all on my own.Wow!!! Who would have thought that Chris and I would have ended up being in the same line of work. If I had known how good I was I would have done this years ago.

I have noticed that Sarah is not texting to much anymore. I told her no more cell phone after 9 pm. I am glad Chris put the unlimited text messaging on our plan when we got her the phone. I did see on the news where another girl texted over 14,000 times. Well We have plans to have dinner with friends tonight, so bye for now.

Today started out very slow. It seems that Monday mornings are so exhausting for me. Trying to get ALL the kids into school mode after the weekend. After taking Sarah to school I got Chris up to do some things around the house. I decided today that I would go fax my 9 exams into Classen Buck. The company I ordered the class from. Within 5 minutes of my faxing the test in I found out I passed the course and ready to take my State final. That will happen on Wednesday morning. I came home and decided to go over our phone bill and was shocked to find out that Miss Sarah texted on her cell phone 7,112 times last month. My heart dropped to my knees. I waited till she got home to show her. She just smiled. I have decided to give her one month to slow down the texting.. I will go back in a month to see how she does. New Year New Adventures

Well this is my first blog. I want to start off by telling you alittle about myself. I have been married for 17 years to a great guy. We have 3 children. I have been a stay at home Mom and wife for 15 of those years. I have wanted for years to go and do something for me. My hubby Chris has tried for years to incourage me to do find something I want to do. I went to Real Esate school. I don't think that is for me. I have always had this fascination with Law Enforcement. Well since I can't be a Police Officer, my hubby helped me come up with being a 911 Dispatcher for the Police Depatment. I thought about it and I thought that was a great idea, so I ordered the course and I applied with Kyle Police Depatment. We will see what happens. Other then that we are all doing well. Kids are back at school and looking foward to Spring break. I will let you know how my job prospect works out. Hope this looks good for my first Blog : )
