We have rain

It been a long time since we have had rain. We are expected 3 more days. The aquifer is very low and this rain will do us some good.

Spring break is almost here. We are planning a trip to Canyon Lake to go RVing. Sarah will start Schlitterbaun next month. Chris and I are getting season passes again to the water park, so anyone that wants to go, let us know we will have coupons.

We are signing up Sarah for driving school soon. She will be driving this summer. Can someone please tell me how to slow down time!!! I had me first interview with NBPD last Thursday. I hope I did good enough to go through to next phase.

Happy Birthday to everyone this month. There are to many to name. LOL

We have had sick kids around here YUK

We have had a busy few weeks. Audrey came home 2 weeks ago with fever of 101.2 and would not go away. For 2 days it was like that, so on Thursday Feb 12th I took her to out Dr. and he told us he had a sinus infection. We got her prescription and went home. Still running fever Saturday ( with no break of fever) I told Chris I need to take her to ER so I did Saturday. We ended up finding out that Audrey had the FLU!! Poor thing we were giving her meds that were not even doing anything to help. Finally Sunday evening she broke the fever.

We took Audrey to her new middle school on Monday. I can't believe its already that time, of year to be doing that. She want to take theater arts for her elective.


Sunday night Sarah starts up with her nose bleeds again. 2 nights and 3 nose bleeds later I took her to the Dr. and found out that she has a ulcer in her nose. I am hoping all the kids are finished being sick for the year.

sarah drill meet

We had a pretty busy weekend. Chris had a birthday Saturday and had Sarah's Drill Meet. Our Saturday started at 3:45 in the morning. Sarah had to be at school at 4:45. That is to early to be up. The bus got to the school at 6 am. She did a great job, She did the Jr. Color Guard. She held the Marine Corpe Flag. I have pics for you and a video of the basic drill. They did not do exhibition because the new girl did not know what she was doing. I tryed to put the video in, but it was to long. I know with alot more practice they will be great.

I can't believe there is only 14 weeks left of school. Audrey will be in middle school. WOW!! Sarah got excited when she found out she is getting money back from the government. She is looking foward to starting work. She will start work at schitterbahn in April. I am going to teach her to drive, so I am sending in 25.00 to the state to get permission to be her driving teacher. I am looking forward to that.

I have my written test with Comal County Sheriffs Department on Monday. I am looking foward to being a dispatcher, if I can get hired by a department. This is where I would like to be, so any prayers would be great.

Busy Week

Well its been a busy week for us. Last week, Chris was in in service this past week. He hates the 1 week school has to attend every last week of January. Its the same thing every year, but he is glad to get it done this last week, so he can go to the natia class ( undercover school). He will be doing that this week.

Jon is doing well, Finally getting over being so sick. He did really well on his report card this 9 weeks.

Audrey is doing good. I had a conference with her teachers Thursday and we are going to get her tested. We may think she has Dyscalculia. KImberly maybe you can yell me what that is. The teachers call it mathlexia, but I don't know. She is having so many problems in math. She is a A and B student in everything else. If we can figure out what is going with her. She will be perfect, Well we all know she is. She was nominated for the gifted and talented by her teacher.

Sarah is getting ready for a Drill Meet in San Antonio Saturday. I took some video of her practice, She is so much better then what is seen. She does not want to hurt herself. She is going so much better in Geography. After taking her out of Mr Brakes class her grade shot up from a 65 to a 89 for the 6 weeks.

As for me, I am going with the flow. I started some new meds last week and omg, I completely went bonkers. I started on Wednesday night and for 2 days felt as if I were drugged. It was so bad, I slept for 2 days. getting up long enough to put the kids on the bus and getting them off the bus. I stopped taking it Friday and woke up Sat morning feeling better. I am calling the Dr tomorrow and telling her NO MORE!!

What a great 37th birthday I had today : )

Today started out great. Got to sleep in till around 9am. Chris and the kids decided they wanted to take me out today, so we went to Austin to visit the Capital of Texas. and go the LBJ library. We all had a blast. There is so much to do and see there. Yesterday I thought 40 is coming up quick and not happy about that, but today feels different. I have so much to do and I AM GOING TO DO IT THIS YEAR!!! We took some pics. Well Sunday evening has approached and kids need to go to bed. Love to you all

Poor Jonathan

Our weekend was pretty nice until Jonathan woke up on Sunday morning with a fever of 102.2 and did not brake that fever till yesterday afternoon. I took him to the doctor Monday morning at 8:30 and finally got out at around 12:30. Poor Jon was so sick and tired of sitting there. He ended up with bronchitis. He was not happy at all about being home only because he has perfect attendance till Monday. I was up with him Monday night half the night. I was so tired Tuesday when I got up with Audrey at 6am. Jon and I watched the inauguration. It was nice because he wanted to know all about it. Audrey had her school spelling bee at school in the afternoon. She made it to the third round of the competition and it started out good till her second word. She missed the word " chalupa" She was so hurt that she did not make it, but I told her out of 90 kids she was one of the last 20 kids to go as far as she did.

I will be putting in an application at the Comal County Sheriffs Department this week. Please pray that if this is the place I'm supposed to be that I will get it. I know that God has a special place for me. I am going to trust him and follow his lead. Well Its getting pretty late here.

I DID IT : )

I DID IT.
I am now a Certified Telecommunications Operator (Police Dispatcher). I got a 96 on my exam. I am so proud of myself. I finished it all on my own.Wow!!! Who would have thought that Chris and I would have ended up being in the same line of work. If I had known how good I was I would have done this years ago.

I have noticed that Sarah is not texting to much anymore. I told her no more cell phone after 9 pm. I am glad Chris put the unlimited text messaging on our plan when we got her the phone. I did see on the news where another girl texted over 14,000 times. Well We have plans to have dinner with friends tonight, so bye for now.
